Supplemental Workshops

Weekly, peer-led workshops run alongside historically challenging science and math courses to help you practice concepts, strengthen study habits, and succeed.

Supplemental Workshops can help with:

  • Practicing course concepts in an active, collaborative environment

  • Breaking down complex material into manageable steps

  • Strengthening study strategies and study habits

  • Building confidence by taking risks and learning from mistakes

  • Preparing more effectively for quizzes, labs, and exams

Supplemental Workshops meet accreditation standards set by the International Center for Supplemental Instruction. To participate, open Schedule Builder and add the Supplemental Workshop section linked to your course. Workshops are led by peers who attend class lectures and connect workshop activities directly to what you’re learning, and they can also provide information about enrollment and participation.
